China tourist dies while diving in Fuvahmulah
He was taken to the hospital within five minutes of becoming unresponsive.

A 70-year-old Chinese tourist who went diving with a diving centre in Fuvahmulah died on Thursday.
According to the police, the tourist who had gone diving at Tiger Shark Point in Fuvahmulah was taken to Fuvahmulah Hospital, as his health deteriorated after climbing aboard the boat. The incident was reported to police close to noon on Thursday, they said.
Police said the man was pronounced dead when he was taken to hospital.
The diving centre's manager Mohammed Nizam told Atoll Times that the tourist had died while he was sitting in the boat after having completed the dive.
Nizam said, “he had boarded the boat alone. The boat crew said they had gone to him to help remove his diving gear while he was sitting and his body had gone rigid and unresponsive after he had raised a hand”.
