The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is investigating six major cases against former Fenaka officials, its chairman Adam Shamil said on Monday.
The ACC was summoned to the State Owned Enterprises Committee of Parliament on Monday for questioning on issues related to government companies in the commission.
Replying to a question by a member, Shamil said on Monday that many cases have been filed against those who were in charge of Fenaka in the previous government.
The same case is filed by many people and therefore the cases are being treated as one case, he said.
"Even if we say six issues, we are really talking about some large and serious issues. We have clubbed together similar cases. For example, 10 people may have reported on one issue inside Fenaka. If we look at the complaints, there will be 10 cases. But we have put it together like it is one type of problem," he said.
He said the most common issues related to Fenaka were procurement and recruitment.
Shamil said on Monday that the ACC has a total of 890 cases related to government companies, including 316 cases in the preliminary stage and 580 cases to be investigated.
