New Male city councillors take oath of office
The ruling PNC won all three seats.
The newly elected candidates for the three vacant seats in the Male City Council took the oath of office on Wednesday.
The by-election was held on July 20 to elect new members to the three constituencies of the Male City Council.
The seats in these three constituencies became vacant following the election of the incumbent councillors to the parliament. The ruling PNC won all three seats.
The three who took the oath of office are:

Drug Court Judge Mohamed Sameer administered the oath to the three members at a ceremony held at Maagiri.
