Journalist Adam Haleem appointed speaker's chief of staff
Haleem was appointed to the post on July 28 under the powers conferred on the speaker by the rules of the parliament.

Experienced journalist Adam Haleem, known as Mundoo Adam Haleem, has been appointed as the head of the official residence of the speaker.

Parliament's communications director Hassan Ziyau told Atoll Times on Thursday that Haleem was appointed to the post on July 28 under the powers conferred on the speaker by the rules of the parliament.
