The Judicial Service Commission (JSC) received complaints about Rizna. While JSC was looking into a complaint of Rizna, she has sent her resignation letter to the commission.
A Department of Judicial Administration (DJA) spokesperson told Atoll Times that Rizna also sent a message to the groups where the DJA employees were present.
The JSC was looking into a complaint about the recruitment of employees.
There is no official statement on the matter as the JSC has a policy of not giving details of any case until after a decision is taken.
Rizna, who previously worked as the Registrar of the Supreme Court, was appointed as the administrative chief of the judiciary on 27th September 2020.
It was a change brought by the former parliament.
Before Rizna, the position was filled by Dr Abdulla Nazeer, who was in a senior position in the education ministry.
The change brought by the parliament was to bring the DJA under JSC and appoint a new administrator from the JSC.
