A man was seriously injured in an accident in Hulhumale Saturday morning, a day after a 23-year-old man was killed in a fatal accident.
The accident occurred at 6:50 am on Saturday in Phase 2 of Hulhumale, police said in a statement. They include:

Police are investigating the accident.
A video of the accident scene has been circulating on social media, showing the young man sustaining head injuries.
The accident comes after Hassan Samah, 23, a prison guard working for the Correctional Service, was killed when his motorcycle was hit by a speeding sports car before attending a marathon in Hulhumale Friday morning.
The young man sustained serious head and face injuries in the accident and died shortly after being taken to Hulhumale Hospital.
Police have identified the driver of a race car that fatally hit a young man on Friday as a 26-year-old Maldivian who did not have a driver's licence.
Meanwhile, President Mohamed Muizzu on Friday instructed all relevant institutions to implement eight stringent measures to ensure road safety.
