A fire broke out in the kitchen of a cafe built in H. Dhoohimerige on Sosun Magu in capital Male Monday.
The fire broke out at the Gamagu Cafe at the corner of Sosun Magu at around 3 pm. The fire was extinguished at 4 pm.
Although the fire was extinguished, smoke was still spreading in the area where the Ibrahimi Mosque is located. In the fire:

One was a 30-year-old man and the other was a 48-year-old woman

The expatriate woman was treated and released

The Maldivian man is also in good condition
The roof of Dhoohimerige was completely burnt down.
The fire broke out on the first and second floors of the Dhoohimerige and spread to the third floor.
However, the fire was brought under control before it spread to any other house.
