The Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) has appointed Ibrahim Nazeem as the Managing Director of the Road Development Corporation (RDC).
His appointment follows the appointment of Ahmed Zuhair, the previous Managing Director of RDC, as the Managing Director of the Housing Development Corporation (HDC).
According to the PCB, Nazeem’s appointment was made to fill the vacancy left at RDC following Zuhair’s move to HDC.
Before this appointment, Nazeem served as the State Minister at the Ministry of Construction and Public Infrastructure.
The position of HDC Managing Director became vacant after Mauroof Jameel resigned from the role on Wednesday. Mauroof had earlier announced that he would retire on the 18th of next month. Reports indicate that his resignation followed a request from the PCB.
