Ferry service to begin in southern Huvadhoo atoll on Thursday
President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has said that all southern atolls will be linked through the RTL ferry system by the end of this year.
Raajje Transport Link (RTL), which aims to connect the entire country through a high-speed ferry system, will launch service in Huvadhoo Atoll on Thursday.
Six ferry boats have been taken to Huvaadhoo, which is considered as zone five, to start the service.
MTCC CEO Adam Azim said on Sunday that the RTL service will be free of cost from Thursday till July 1.
The speedboats to be used for the service in Huvaadhoo:

MTCC had earlier said that after beginning RTL services in the south, it would once again be extended to other islands in the northern zone.
The company aims to connect the entire country with the ferry system within the next two years.
