HDC launches 4 housing projects
Housing Development Corporation (HDC) on Wednesday inaugurated four housing projects as part of its Transforming Tomorrow initiative.
Economic minister Mohamed Saeed presided over the inauguration ceremony, held at Central Park in Hulhumale.
The projects are part of HDC's broader development strategy and include plans for various types of housing units in Hulhumale, as follows:

Raw House (Modern Connected Homes): Thirty-two housing units will be developed in Hulhumale Phase 2. The units will feature exclusive clubhouses, swimming pools, and related amenities.

Social Housing Projects: A total of 2,100 two-bedroom and three-bedroom units will be constructed under two social housing projects aimed at improving housing accessibility.

Farukolhufushi Gated Community: Targeted at residents seeking private upper-tier housing, this project includes the construction of 20 beach villas, 60 garden villas, 26 urban villas, and an 85-room hotel.

Rasmale Eco City Project: As part of the Transforming Tomorrow vision, the Rasmale Eco City project is designed to promote sustainable living within the housing expansion. HDC has set a target to develop 65,000 housing units to accommodate a projected population of 325,000 under its comprehensive housing plan.
