Immigration department conducted a series of raids on coffee shops in Male on Saturday, resulting in the arrest of five undocumented immigrants.
Officials searched six establishments during the operation.

The arrested individuals are being processed in line with the government’s policy to deport undocumented immigrants within 48 hours of detection.
According to Immigration, more than 4,000 undocumented immigrants have been deported over the past year as part of ongoing efforts to manage illegal immigration in the Maldives.
