Council to assist in complaints on flat list
A revised list was released late last month, with 1,820 individuals deemed eligible for the flats.
Male’ City Council has announced arrangements to assist individuals wishing to submit complaints regarding the list of flat recipients under the Gedhoruveriya housing scheme.
The Housing Ministry has extended the deadline for submitting complaints until the 15th of next month.
In an announcement Monday, the council stated that its public services section will provide assistance to those seeking to file complaints.
The council outlined the service schedule as follows:

From Monday until the 5th of next month: Available from 10:00 am to 2:30 pm and from 9:30 pm to 11:00 pm.

From the 6th to the 15th of next month: Available from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and from 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm.
The list of recipients for 4,000 housing units being constructed in Hulhumale’ by two Indian companies was finalised under the previous administration.
However, following President Mohamed Muizzu’s assumption of office, the new government decided to review the list. A revised list was released late last month, with 1,820 individuals deemed eligible for the flats.
