Police have arrested two brothers in Male’ in connection with the possession of narcotics, following a joint operation by the Drug Enforcement Department and the Counter Narcotics Intelligence Unit.
The two individuals arrested are:

Ibrahim Shareef
-
Hamza Shareef
Both are residents of H. Semitone in Male’.
The two are siblings. During the operation, authorities seized 90.5 grams of suspected narcotic substances.
Following their arrest, the suspects were presented before the Criminal Court, which ordered that they be remanded in custody for 15 days pending further investigation.
