The body of a man was found at sea near K. Kandooma Thila on Sunday, police said.

Police received a report at 10:17am stating that a body had been sighted in the area. Officers responded and confirmed that the deceased is a foreign national.

Police said officers are at the scene and investigations are under way. Further details will be released once available.
