Man stabbed inside a shop in Male
A foreigner removes the t-shirt of a person present at the spot and wraps it around the injured person.
A man was attacked with a sharp object at a shop in Male on Friday night.
According to police, a 30-year-old local man was injured in the attack. He is undergoing emergency treatment at IGMH, police said.
The injured man fell to the floor inside the shop and there was no movement and there were pictures of him bleeding profusely going around in social media. In a video accessed by Atoll Times, a group of civilians can be seen rushing to help the man. A foreigner removes the t-shirt of a person present at the spot and wraps it around the injured person.
The attack took place inside 'Krasa' on Muranga roaga. It is a cosmetics shop.
Two eyewitnesses told Atoll Times that the attack took place when two men, wearing helmets, entered the shop.
The area has been cordoned off and police have been deployed.
