ADK Hospital said on Tuesday that the man who was seriously injured in the accident that took place in Hulhumale Phase II on Monday is being treated in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
The accident took place around 1.20am, the wee hours of Monday morning, near the flats being constructed by India's JMC in Hulhumale Phase II.
Two local men, aged 19 and 56, were injured in the accident. The 56-year-old is in a critical condition.
"When the last check was done yesterday, the patient, who was critical after surgeries, is being treated in the intensive care unit," ADK Managing Director Ahmed Afaal told Atoll Times on Tuesday.
"His condition hasn't changed."
