Prosecutor General's Office (PG) has decided to trial a four-day work week for a second time.
The PG office staff had a trial of the four-day work week in Ramadan.
In a statement, the PG office said employees will work four days a week from June 25 to August 1. The decision to work fewer days is part of the office's vision to ensure that its employees are mentally, spiritually and physically healthy.
The PG office said the decision was taken strategically:
-
Working in a manner that does not interfere with public services; Five days of work should be completed in four days
-
Divide non-working day tasks among employees
-
Even on days when staff work at home, prosecutors have to go to court, if they have other work to do outside the office, but the day's work will be lighter
-
If the employee takes leave leave during this period, they will have to work for five days in the following week
The PG office said the employees' performance will be monitored on a daily basis. If the experiment fails, the office will resume five-day working weeks.
