A 65-year-old man died in a road accident in Hulhumale on Tuesday.
The accident occurred at 5:47 pm near Platinum Residences.
Police said one of the two cars involved in the accident lost control and hit the dividers on the road.
According to police:

The 65-year-old driver of one of the cars died at the scene; He was the only one in the car

Both occupants of the other car were injured and taken to the hospital; police did not give details about the condition of them

Photos obtained by Atoll Times show that the front of the car in which the injured driver was driving was severely damaged.
