Two Maldivian pilgrims are being treated in the ICU after fall ill while on their Hajj pilgrimage in Mecca, Islamic ministry said on Tuesday.
State minister for Islamic affairs Mohammed Anil said on PSM's live coverage of Hajj that two elderly people were in critical condition. Without giving further details, he said the two men were taken to Arafat.

After a three-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Hajj pilgrimage was held at full capacity this year, with two million people from across the Muslim participating in holiest of Muslim worships.
