Government on Thursday awarded a contract worth MVR 214 million to build 200 housing units in Hithadhoo ward of Addu.
At a ceremony held at the planning ministry today, a joint venture between PT Sotramas Heavy Industries and Beewa Builders of Indonesia was tasked with building the housing units in in 540 days or one and a half years.

The planning ministry had in March opened bids for the project.
