Application opens for UWC scholarships for 15-17-year-olds
Since the UWC scheme was launched in 2001, 67 have completed it in Maldives.

The United World Colleges (UWC) Maldives National Committee has opened up for scholarships for the next three years.
UWC scholarship opportunities are open to children aged 15 - 17 years. UWC will provide tuition, boarding and insurance for these scholarships.
In addition to these expenses, pocket money, travel, tickets and visa expenses will also be covered if necessary.
How to apply for scholarships:

Applications can be made via the UWC website; The deadline is 15 December 2023

After reviewing the forms, the shortlisted candidates will be invited to a two-day selection camp

The last stage that the shortlisted candidates have to complete at the selection camp is an interview

UWC was founded in 1963 and has schools in 17 countries around the world. UWC’s core educational model is its International Baccalaureate Program. The program's certficate is recognized by many countries around the world and the Maldives Qualifications Authority (MQA).
