It is understood the victim suffered deep cuts to his lower legs and head.

A man was seriously injured in a gang fight in Hithadhoo, Addu on Friday evening.
Police said they received a report of a fight between two gangs in Hithadhoo early on Friday evening.

"A 30-year-old man who sustained stab wounds in the fight is being treated at the Equatorial Hospital in Addu. The man's condition is critical," police said in a statement.
Police are investigating the incident further.
It is understood the victim suffered deep cuts to his lower legs and head.
