Additional police teams are being sent to Addu in connection with a dangerous gang fight that went down in Hithadhoo on Friday evening.

Police received a report of a fight between two gangs in Hithadhoo early on Friday evening. According to police:

A 30-year-old man was stabbed and injured badly in the fight

He is being treated at the Equatorial Hospital in Addu

The man is in critical condition, the hospital informed police
