A man who was seriously injured in an accident in Fuvahmulah Saturday evening died Tuesday.
The 30-year-old Maldivian man sustained serious injuries and was treated at the island's hospital first before being air lifted to capital Male Sunday morning for further treatment, the police added.

He died around 8:30am while being treated in the ICU and on ventilator support, an IGMH spokesperson confirmed to Atoll Times.
The accident occurred when a speeding motorcycle went out of control and hit a wall.
Police are investigating the accident.
