President Mohamed Muizzu's first state to China from 7 to 13 this month cost MVR 2.4 million, the President’s Office said.
President Muizzu has said that he will disclose the expenses of the trips and his deputy makes within 15 days of completion of the trip.
The office on Thursday announced the expenses of the President's visit. The President's Office said the Chinese government provided food and accommodation for the visit.
President arrived in China via Singapore. He returned to Maldives via Dubai. Two million Rufiyaa was spent on the tickets alone. Accordingly:

The total cost of the 7-day trip, which cost MVR 2.4 million, divided among the 30 people in the President’s delegation is MVR 80,000 per person.
