Mohammed Nabeel (Yaaya) has been arrested for posting inappropriate and provocative videos of himself in feminine outfits on TikTok.
He was previously arrested and convicted of two counts of posting pornographic content on TikTok and sentenced to 1 year in prison in September last year.
After being released from prison, Nabeel has made a come-back on TikTok wearing women's clothes. Police re-arrested him on Saturday. The reason cited for the arrest was that he was posting social media content in violation of general social norms.
He is remanded in custody for 15 days after being produced before the court. Police are investigating the incident.
Nabeel first published his own pornographic video in August 2021. The police were pressured to arrest him by the public then, because there was delay in taking him into custody.
He was remanded in custody for a month as he was deemed a danger to the safety of the community as well as following the possibility he might destroy evidence if released.
He was later released on condition that he would not post anything on social media for 60 days, but he had continued to share immoral videos on social media until he was arrested and charged again in 2022.
