Govt to sponsor health check-ups for locals above 19 years
Checkup includes blood, urine, stool tests and ECG.

People between the ages of 19 and 39 can get medical check-ups through Aasandha from Tuesday onwards.
The government's health insurance scheme, Aasandha, is going to provide medical check-ups to the people as per President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu’s presidential pledge. In line with that pledge , the Cabinet approved the provision of check-ups in Aasandha last December. With that:

From the first day of this year, people over the age of 50 will be able to get medical check-ups through Aasandha

The service was introduced in April for children under the age of 18 and people over the age of 40

Special tests for students of grades prescribed by the Ministry of Education will also be conducted in government hospitals through Aasandha
The Aasandha Company on Tuesday announced that people between the ages of 19 and 39 will be able to get medical check-ups done twice a year under the Aasandha scheme.
Medical check-ups under Aasandha are done at health centres, regional and atoll hospitals in the islands. Check-ups can be done at Hulhumale Hospital, IGMH and Villimale Hospital in the Male area.
If a second medical check-up is required within a year, it can be done as per the rule with a doctors’ advice. Thus:
