Zeena Zahir, who was the Managing Director of the state-owned media, PSM, has resigned from her post.

Presidential spokesperson Heena Waleed confirmed to Atoll Times that Zeena has submitted her resignation letter to the Privatisation and Corporatisation Board (PCB) on Saturday.

However, the reason for Zeena's resignation is still unclear.

Zeena was appointed as the Managing Director of PSM on November 29. She is the first woman to be appointed to the post.
