NDMA provides temporary shelter to 55 over Male fire

The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) confirmed that no injuries were reported in the incident.

The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has provided temporary shelter to 55 individuals after a fire damaged the main water pipes of two houses in M. House Plaza, Male, on Sunday.

The fire was reported at 6:35 am and was brought under control by 7:47 am, according to authorities.

The NDMA stated that among those provided with temporary shelter, 20 were foreign nationals.

The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) confirmed that no injuries were reported in the incident.
