The government has announced that ferry services under the RTL project will begin in all provinces of the Maldives before the end of the year.

Tickets for ferry services in Baa Atoll will be available for purchase starting from 4 August. Customers will be able to make bookings through the RTL website and mobile application from 1 August.
The RTL network is being rolled out in phases across different regions of the country. Services are currently operational in the Haa Alif, Haa Dhaal, and Shaviyani zone; the Noonu, Raa, Baa, and Lhaviyani zone; and the southernmost region covering Gaafu Alif, Gaafu Dhaalu, Fuvahmulah, and Addu.
