MTCC awarded MVR 137 million Hithaadhoo land reclamation project
Under the agreement, MTCC will reclaim 15 hectares of land and construct 691 metres of revetment around the reclaimed area.

The Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has been awarded the contract for land reclamation works in B. Hithaadhoo, valued at MVR 137 million.
The agreement was signed on Wednesday during President Mohamed Muizzu’s visit to Baa Atoll, at a meeting with residents of Hithaadhoo.
Signing on behalf of the government was the Infrastructure Ministry, represented by Minister Dr Abdulla Muththallib. MTCC Managing Director Ahmed Saudy signed on behalf of the company.
Under the agreement, MTCC will reclaim 15 hectares of land and construct 691 metres of revetment around the reclaimed area.
The project is scheduled to be completed within 450 days.
