Taylor’s University, Villa College partner to offer courses in Maldives
Najeeb described the launch of these courses as a revolution in the country's education sector.

One of Malaysia's most popular private universities, Taylor’s University and local Villa College on Wednesday joined hands to offer their courses at Villa College.

Professor Michael Driscoll, Vice-Chancellor and President of Taylor’s University attended Villa College to inaugurate the courses.
According to a presentation viewed at the meeting, the process of forming a partnership between Villa College and Taylor’s University began a year-and-a-half ago. An agreement in this regard was signed on 8 November.
The undergraduate and master's degree franchise courses offered from Taylor’s University at Villa College are:

Speaking on the occasion, Vice Rector of Villa College Ali Najeeb said that the hospitality courses offered are ranked 16th in the world in terms of quality.
Najeeb described the launch of these courses as a revolution in the country's education sector.
"This is an opportunity for our students to stay in their own country and pursue world-class education," Najeeb said.
Though starting with a few courses, Najeeb said he would like to expand the partnership between Villa College and Taylor’s University in the future. He said it was not only about increasing the number of courses, but also the idea of diversion of resources and student exchange programmes.
