4 injured in traffic accident between Malé and Hulhumalé
Two of the injured were treated at hospital and later discharged, while the remaining two are continuing to receive medical care.
Four people were injured in a traffic accident on the main road between Malé and Hulhumalé early Monday morning, police said.
According to the Maldives Police Service, the incident was reported at 12:45 a.m.
Police said a car travelling towards Hulhumalé collided with another car that was stationary in a traffic lane. The vehicle then entered the motorcycle lane and struck four motorcycles.
Four men sustained injuries in the accident. Two of the injured were treated at hospital and later discharged, while the remaining two are continuing to receive medical care.
Police said the vehicles involved sustained damage.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
