Inguraidhoo chief magistrate's motorcycle set on fire
The Judge's Association has issued a statement condemning the incident.

R. Inguraidhoo Magistrate Court Chief Magistrate Mohammed Rashad's motorcycle was set on fire, and police is investigating the case.
Mohammed Rashad's motorcycle was set on fire on Thursday night at 2:30 pm.
A police spokesman told Atoll Times on Saturday that the motorcycle was burnt to the ground.
"No arrests have been made in connection with the incident. Police are investigating the incident," he said.
A video of the burning motorcycle Atoll Times found shows that all parts of the motorcycle were burning except the steel parts. The nearby motorcycle also caught fire and was completely burnt down.
None of the islanders can explain why this was done.
The Judges Association has issued a statement condemning the incident. The statement called for an immediate investigation into the incident and action against those involved.
In addition, the statement said:

The Constitution states that no person, whether a private individual or a person in charge of the administration of the state, shall interfere or influence the work of the judges

The Judiciary Act states that the security forces shall provide safety and security to judges, depending on the extent to which they may be exposed to danger in connection with the particular case they are hearing and the situation in the country
Therefore, the statement called for all necessary measures to be taken to ensure that safety.
