The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) has donated MVR 1 million to the International Aid Campaign (IAC)’s Gaza Emergency Relief Fund.
The IAC said in a statement on Tuesday that the HDC has donated MVR 1 million to its Gaza Emergency Relief Fund.
The IAC said it would provide the aid to the rightful recipients and the details would be announced.

There have been various allegations on social media that the IAC is committing fraud, questioning its purpose.
They mostly pointed out that 12.5% of the donations is charged for the administrative operations of the NGO, the details of which are not made public despite an outcry for audit reports.
According to some accusations:

The association said it would announce the details of the expenditure through the media in the near future. It also said it would release the audit report but has not done so yet.
