The Housing Development Corporation (HDC) on Tuesday opened applications for pocket parking spaces to resolve the parking problem in Hulhumale.
According to the HDC, 1,375 parking spaces have been allocated in eight zones of Hulhumale. The monthly rent for the spaces is MVR 2,000 for a period of one year.
The requirements for these spaces are:

Must be a Maldivian, 18 years of age

Applicant must have a category B1 or C1 vehicle registered in the Male region

Be a resident of the Male region
According to the HDC, priority will be given to vehicles registered in Hulhumale.
The order of priority in allocating space is as follows:

Residents of Hulhumale living in the zone where the parking application has been submitted
-
Hulhumale residents living in another zone

Residents of Male
