MTCC awarded MVR 40m contract to develop V. Thinadhoo harbour
MTCC said that with the project, it will be make things so much easier for the residents of Thinadhoo to get a modern, spacious harbour.

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) was awarded a project to develop V. Thinadhoo harbour on Tuesday.
Thinadhoo harbour development, one of the islands with the largest guesthouse business in V. Atoll, was awarded for MVR 40.57 million. Under the project agreed to be completed within 360 days:

New harbour basin to fill 12,800 cubic metres

860 cubic metres of water to be filled

77 metres to be covered by outer wall

10-metre-long, 9-metre-wide ramp to be constructed

A 16-metre-long, 2-metre-wide concrete bridge will be constructed
The agreement for the project was signed at a ceremony held at the planning ministry on Tuesday:

In a statement, MTCC said that with the project, it will be make things so much easier for the residents of Thinadhoo to get a modern, spacious harbour. As a result, the harbour of the busy island will have space and it will also make it easier for vessels such as the tug boats and barges to get close to it and make it easier for ships to dock.
