Maldives bans Aciloc injection batch over quality issues

Maldives Food and Drug Authority (MFDA) on Tuesday banned the use of specific batches of imported injections due to quality issues.
According to the authority, quality issues have been found in batch number RP21311 of Aciloc (Ranitidine injections) imported and used in the Maldives.
The MFDA banned the import, sale and use of the batch number.
According to MFDA:

It is manufactured by Kadila Pharmaceutical Limited (Ahmedabad) of India

If the batch found to be causing the problem is located in any pharmacy or health care facility, it should be notified
